  Service Letter 418 details this for retrofitters.  The data on the letter is all FAA approved.
  (Note that there was a minor change to the letter from the Draft that was released!)
  The Service Letter was determined to not be Mandatory, but recommended.

• Gross Weight Increase to 7ECA's, 7GCAA's, and 7KCAB's 
  Get 100 lbs. extra with no other modifications besides our wings (up to 1750 lbs.).
  Call us, Fax us, or email us with your Serial Number, N-number, and snail mail address,
  We will type a new Flight Manual or Supplement and mail it to you.
  This addition is standard on new aircraft.

 

• Normal Category Gross Weight Increase to 8KCAB
  Super Decathlons with our wings and new aluminum or extended steel gear legs are eligible for
  a Normal Category (NOT Acrobatic Category) gross weight increase to 1950 lbs.  Thus, allows
  for easier cross country flight and non-acrobatic instruction operation.

• Normal Category Gross Weight Increase to 7GCBC 'High Country'
  Superior powered 7GCBC, both new and existing, are eligible for
  a Normal Category (NOT Acrobatic Category) gross weight increase to 1950 lbs.
  Thus, allows for easier cross country flight and non-acrobatic instruction operation.
  Contact us and we will type a new Flight Manual and mail it to you.
  This addition is standard on new aircraft.
